Staycation camping in Kent

Nestled on the edge of the village of Goudhurst in the High Weald of Kent, Bedgebury Camping is situated in a "Staycation Paradise to rival the Cotswolds" - according to the Daily Telegraph's Annabelle Thorpe.  The High Weald of Kent is called it "one to watch" and we couldn't agree more, what with its vineyards, National Trust properties, walks, gardens, fabulous pubs and its designated title of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Bedgebury Camping is within easy reach of London and it is minutes from some of the top visitor attractions in Kent.   The campsite offers weekend camping only and is part of a 250 acre family farm located in a beautiful valley.  The central camping area provides water edge camping alongside a small stream, next to a woodland where children can play and build camps.  The rest of the campsite is no less quirky and characterful, with stunning views to the horizon in some places across farms, oasthouses, churches and woodlands.

We open the farm during the summer weekends for tent camping as well as campervan camping (e.g. VW campervans, Mazda Bongo campervans).  (Check opening times). The campsite is located 0.5km off the road down a farm track.

Friends and families can easily camp in groups and can pitch where they please within the allocated fields. Campfires are allowed, with firewood available at reception.

We want to make getting back to nature as easy as possible. It is normally possible to park by your tent, however we may ask that you keep your car in the car park during your stay depending on conditions.
