Weekend camping in Kent

For 28 days each summer the gorgeous Pattenden Farm, Goudhurst becomes Bedgebury Camping at weekends and is able to offer wide open camping spaces ideal for large group camping and families.  Bedgebury Camping is also a capmsite that allows campfires.

It is an independently owned campsite which offers a rustic camping experience with fun additions such as hay bales to sit on, and places where children can build a woodland camp.  It also allows little camping indulgences including chocolate smothered waffles from our pop-up campsite café and chilled prosecco from our campsite shop.

Bedgebury campsite close to London

Bedgebury Camping in Kent is a campfire campsite that is close to London enough to make it a viable option for weekends, but one that feels worlds away.  We are situated within an hour's drive of the M25, or 60 minutes on the train from London Charing Cross to Marden.  The rolling landscape of the Weald of Kent, the views of the distant farmland, villages and churches and the visible horizon from parts of the site, offer a glorious back drop for summer weekends camping together.

We are able to accommodate family groups who use the campsite as a meeting place for weekend camping, and we also allow campfires, providing fire pits for no extra charge.

Campers arriving via the M25, will need to leave at Junction 5 and join the A21 heading towards Hastings, passing Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells on the way.

Those arriving by rail from London to Bedgebury Camping will need to take a 10 minute taxi service from Marden, which is the closest station to the campsite.
